This is so cool. I never thought about the connections between Joseph of the Old testament and the Joseph of the New testament.

I've heard a lot of the life stories of the Saints over the years but I could not stop crying listening to this. What a special and holy person, how blessed we are as Catholics to have a soul like hers to intercede for us sinners. Glory be to God in the Highest, for we may not understand his ways, but we can always know his plans for us are always for the good and for the best.

St. Joseph is a perfect example of a saint because he showed obedience to God and does it in a way that does not draw attention to himself because the attention should be to our Lord, Jesus. This is why we don't know much about him and that his actions speak louder than words. St. Joseph, pray for us.

Alleluja brother! I can testify the huge impact it had on my family joining a Parish of the FSSP celebrating Holy Mass with the traditional Latin rite! My wife didn't believe in the real presence any longer and she very rarely was joining me on Sunday Mass. Since October we receive Holy Communion on the tongue and benefit of the glorious traditional liturgy. We love the many silences and the mystical gregorian chants! It's like standing before the gates of Heaven!! Now my wife an my children never skip a Mass, they come to confession monthly and we pray together. THIS is a miracle!!!

But i dont understand why God just does not yet grant her healing of her mental disorder? She thought she is God, speak to herself, speak things that seem offensive to God and our BVM. Should the priest ever say anything other than "the body of Christ" when he gives you communion? Yesterday I was receiving communion and the priest didn't say those words. Instead he was continually mumbling something under his breath inaudibly. It felt very weird and took me by surprise because in all my years of taking communion I've never not heard a priest say " the body of Christ" Is there ever a reason for this that I don't know about?

Я пережил в своей жизни не самый приятный опыт: Когда-то я занимался изучением заброшенных зданий. Однажды летом я до поздна задержался в старой церкви, разрушенной коммунистами ещё в начале 20 века. Я забирался на колокольню, исследовал руины алтарной части храма и даже попытался проникнуть в подвал, что у меня частично получилось(Вход в подвал был открыт, но коридор через несколько метров оказался завален камнями). Зря я это сделал... Но ещё хуже то, что я взял с собой пару кирпичей из этой церкви на память. Дорога домой пролегала через лес. Уже была ночь, когда я возвращался. В этот момент на меня нагрянула волна беспричинного страха. Я побежал. Я бежал так быстро, как только мог. Придя домой, я списал всё на страх темноты и ночного леса. Но странности не закончились. В нашем загородном доме с тех пор стали происходить необъяснимые вещи: предметы падали без какой-либо причины, замки на дверях закрывались сами по себе, по ночам были отчётливо слышны звуки шагов, бега, подпрыгиваний на втором этаже или на чердаке(зависело от того где в данный момент находились люди). Также по ночам был слышен звук работы механических часов, хотя мы их никогда не имели. Венцом кошмара служили ужасающие сны про нечисть, преследовавшие меня с того дня. Ночами я проходил через ад: я столкнулся с первородным ужасом вгоняющим в ступор. Существа, посещавшие меня ночью, были невероятно изобретательны в области запугивания и внушения ужаса. Спасало только судорожное повторение "Отче наш" и чтение библии, забившимся в самый дальний угол дома. Это продолжалось довольно долго, до тех пор пока моя бабушка, приехав ко мне в гости и разобравшись в ситуации, не дала мне совет: "Верни взятые тобой кирпичи обратно в церковь, исповедуйся в своих грехах, прими евхаристию". Кирпичи я вернул обратно на следующий же день. Все необъяснимые события в доме тут же прекратились. Но ночные кошмары мучали меня ещё до самой исповеди и евхаристии. До них я дошёл не сразу. Мне было стыдно сознаваться во грехах, просить помощи у священника в их искуплении. Это была ошибка. Из-за своей гордости я страдал ещё несколько месяцев. Но как только я смог найти в себе силы раскаяться в грехах совершённых и принять Исуса подл видом евхаристии, меня перестали мучать ночные кошмары. Я так счастлив, что теперь могу жить без страха, зная что у меня есть такая хорошая семья, которая помогала мне справиться с этим, приход в моём храме, который всегда поддержит, и Бог, который любит всех нас. Надеюсь, что моя история окажется кому-то полезной) Всем добра! И хранит вас Господь!
